Can I use the app offline?

Yes, most features work offline. Your journal is always accessible without internet. Photo analysis features (Bubbles and Squeak) require an internet connection.

Who are Bubbles and Squeak?

Bubbles and Squeak are your AI garden helpers! Bubbles specializes in analyzing seed packet photos to extract growing information. Squeak helps analyze your garden photos to identify plants and provide growing advice.

When you choose to use these features, your photos are sent to Anthropic for processing. The analysis is done using advanced AI models, but your data is not stored or used to train AI systems.

Is the photo analysis accurate?

Bubbles and Squeak provide helpful suggestions based on common gardening knowledge and photo analysis, but they’re not a substitute for professional advice or seed packet instructions. Always verify important information.

Data Storage

All your garden logs, photos, and notes are stored locally on your device. We have no servers collecting your personal information, and we don’t track your usage with analytics.

Photo Analysis Features (Optional)

Too Many Tomatoes includes two optional garden helpers powered by Anthropic:
