How much does Sheep! cost?
Sheep! is free to download from the App Store.
Where is my data stored?
Your flock data is stored locally on your device. We don't have servers collecting your information — everything stays with you.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes, Sheep! works fully offline. Your flock directory, diary, and season data are all accessible without an internet connection.
Will my data sync across devices?
Currently, data stays on each device and doesn't sync automatically between devices.
What iOS version do I need?
Sheep! requires iOS 15.0 or later and works on iPhone.
How does the lambing date calculation work?
When you log a tupping mark for a ewe, Sheep! automatically calculates the expected lambing date by adding 147 days — the standard gestation period for sheep.
Can I track multiple rams?
Yes. Add as many rams as you like and assign them to ewes. Ram activity is shown with colour-coded raddle bars in the Season Detail view.

All your sheep records, diary entries, and season data are stored locally on your device. We have no servers collecting your personal information, and we don't track your usage.
What We Don't Collect
- Email addresses or account information (the app doesn't require accounts)
- Location data from GPS or device sensors
- Usage analytics or tracking data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Photos and Camera Access
If you add photos to sheep profiles, the app requests access to your camera or photo library. These photos are stored locally on your device and are never sent to external services.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how Sheep! handles data, we'll update this policy and notify you through an app update.
