Flixtr ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and profile details you provide when signing up
- Content you post — ratings, captions, and activity logs you share on the app
- Usage data — how you interact with the app (anonymised and aggregated)
- Device information — device type and OS version for bug fixing and compatibility
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Flixtr service
- To show your posts to your followers and display others' posts to you
- To send you notifications you've opted into
- To respond to support requests
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the app (e.g. cloud hosting), under strict confidentiality agreements.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at contact-us@roverengineering.co.uk. You may also delete your account directly from Settings in the app.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
Children
Flixtr is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
